The 3600° of rotation with a linearity precision of 0.25% makes them ideal for use with a ten-turn counter dial (not included) to provide a high resolution readout of voltage or other calibrated parameter.
One convenient use is resistor substitution in circuit optimization. Temporarily install this pot and adjust for best circuit performance. Then remove the pot, measure it and solder in a fixed resistor of equal value.
Perfect for fine tuning a HAM QRP VCO, precision voltage regulator, comparator reference input and many other applications where a pot with only one turn (or less) is much too coarse.
