1) Brand name
Key codes are not exclusive, often one code will be used by many different lock brands. The brand name narrows it down.
The brand logo or name will often be present on the locked product, as a label inside the locked product, or on the original key.

2) Application
The purpose of the key will be listed if specific information is available. If the purpose is specific, a key will only work for that use.
The brand name may be the same, but the key may be for a different model. (e.g. Padlock No. 1 vs Padlock No. 5)
3) Key Appearance (if you have a key)
Compare the existing key to the listing photo. If the blade's grooves looks very different, it is a sign that it is not the correct key.
The key head often is the same, but not always. Different key head shapes may be be used.

Shipping
Small key orders are sent by letter mail. Delivery time can be slow due to the cost,

Keys that are not a match, can be returned at the expense of the buyer, within 30 days of receiving the item.
